Menu in mdi child

Hi to all,

i am implementing a c# application where i use mdi parents and childs do i can keep the forms within a another form.

In the parent form i have a menu that opens the child forms. What i wanted is the mdi child to also have a menu of its own. I have put a menu there but it simply does not appear! so is it possible so do what i want?

So does this mean that it's not possible to add a menu to a mdi child?

Not sure what your problem is - if you give the MDIChild a menu then it appears as part of the MDIParents menu.
Are you not seeing this happen or is there some other problem?

did not see that happen!! i was always looking at the child form that did not see the menu appear! this is embarising
