I have 2 financial programs (MYOB and Quickbooks) on my win98 system.
The MYOB file was recently updated by my accountant, I trouble updating from the floppy he provided so ended up getting the modified file e-mailed, this seemed to work just fine.
I tried to save the data to a CD-RW and the system advised I was not authorised and should contact the administrator, this in on my own PC?
I suspect I have imported his identity or password, I saved the data as a document and sent it to a CD-RW without and problems, but have not tried to retrieve it yet.
Today I tried to open the Quickbooks program and it's asking for a password. I have never used a password for anything on my system.
Is there some way I can find this setting and delete it.
I have noticed a very brief flash of a text box on start up that advises 'Creating user profile--reading source'
This is driving me nuts, I use the Quickbooks program to issue quotes.
Any advice gratefully received.
