list computer names on a network??

easy dudes,

can anyone tell me how i can go about listing all the computers on a network domain?

trying to write an app in vb.net to run some updates on networked pc's remotely.... don't know how i can return this list tho'.

I'm working on a package that will do this plus list shared directories, printers, and mapped network drives. I'll post here again when I have something to share, which will hopefully be soon.
