Hello,

The Question i am asking might be ridiculous. Please do bear with it. Is it possible to have link between VB.NET and ASP.NET. What i would like to know is can the end user connect to ASP.NET Server via an VB.NET application. If so, how can i go about it.

If the above is possible i would like to send data to the Server in a secured way. Heard of SSL. Do not know much about it. Is that the best option? How to send data to the server without being intercepted?

Please do give me some ideas or links. It will be very useful.

Best thing is go and have a look at Web Services - they allow you to call code running under IIS via HTTP / HTTPS, which sounds pretty much what you're asking
