Import from Database

Hi,
I want to enable my program to import from different databased.
I see this feature on a lot of program here and there.
See my snap shot.
But I don't know the basic and general algorithm so how should I work?
Any help on this case please ?

Do you have the 101 Sample programs?

If not download them. There are samples on data access that should get you rolling. This is vor VB .NET, I think that is what you work with from seeing past posts. If not just do a search for 101 c# samples, and you will get that download, same programs but done in c#.
