Hi

I'm looking for easiest way to redirect speaker & microphone of a mobile phone to the PC.

At my disposal I have a Motorola Razr and a very old handy.

I already tried some ways:
Connecting the handy through bluetooth or with cable,
which makes a modem connection available, with it I guess I can't achieve my goal.

Then there is an option to connect a bluetooth headset to the handy.
So I thought this is my best shoot, but the mobile phone doesn't recognise my PC as a headset (duh :p ).
Is there any way to trick the handy into believing that it is talking to a headset?
And if that works how can I then send/recieve the sound

And jet another (extreme and last resort) way would be dismantling the old handy and
use the cables from the speaker/microphone and connect it to the PC.

Or any other ideas?

You could try speaking to Motorola and seeing if there's an SDK available - this might include stuff that could allow you to pick up through ordinary BlueTooth and monitor signals (after all, that's al that happens through an earpiece).

Paul.

IIRC if the device is picked up through bluetooth as a speaker or microphone then it should be possible to select this as an output device. Off hand though I haven't a clue where to do this but it is probably part of the multimedia stuff...
