Get String From HTML Page

Can someone please help me?

I need to search for a string on a webpage. For example have the program (a normal program, not asp) get the temperature for a zip code that was entered. Thanks in advance

This depends on how the web page is layed out, because different layouts require different types of searching. Can you give an example of the webpage you want to use?

...but for this particular example, I'd suggest using a web service (It looks like there is one that meets your needs on xmethods). Just Google on "temperature web service SOAP" This way will be much more reliable.
