I need to deploy a VB.NET application that will have fairly frequent version updates. I've set up a deployment project that seems to install new versions fine. It's got RemovePreviousVersion set, the upgrade code the same and different package and product codes for the new versions.
My problem is that despite ending up with a single up-to-date version of the application files and icons, all of the previous versions are shown in the clients' Add/Remove Program dialog. You can manually uninstall the old versions from there, but I'd prefer if that didn't need to be done.
Does the fact this is happening mean that the RemovePreviousVersion isn't working? Is there something else I should be doing to get all traces of the previous version unistalled?
Any ideas or help would be greatfully received!
