Flexgrid vs. Datagrid

I am confused between the two. To my understanding, VStudio.net uses a datagrid and vb6 uses a flexgrid. Is this correct and if so, can you create a flexgrid in VStudio.net.

Create? Well you can use the flexgrid. But the datagrid is more powerful.
