Executing fron javascript events in C# .net

Within C# .net we are able to launch javascript functions, even sending parameters. Now I need within javascript execute events such as link button clicks, obviously writings in C# .net. Is this possible?
May some guru answer me about this matter?

You can (using JS) postback with a queryString and handle this request on the server.
