Hey people, does anyone know if it's possible to connect/disconnect PPPoE broadband connections using VB.NET?

I need to make an app that checks to see if one's open or not, and if not, then create it, and if it is, then disconnect it, the create it again...

Any help or advice much appreciated!

Sorry, but I'm a bit of a n00b, what do you mean by "lower level functions"?

Do you know of any scripts or such that can do what I'm after?
