I use a laptop - the applications I build for the most part look okay on
here
On other machines however the size and appearance will vary from the size
that exists on my laptop. Here at work I have apps I built installed on
machines that run 98, Me, XP, and NT. They all look a little different and
in some cases a lot different(a form measuring 722,546 will cover the whole
screen and on some monitors completely envelope it while on others it fits
much better.). Is there a way to cause a consistent appearance on all
monitors?

it's probably an issue of resolution of the displays on each different computer. Some may be set at 800x600 while others may be set at 1600x12000.

The number of pixels for your form is the same for each computer, but the number of pixels available for each display may vary and so the visible size will vary.
