Although not strictly DirectX related... the project I'm undertaking is. I am producing a personal video recorder using managed DirectX 9 and c#. The system will allow you to pause, rewind live tv etc.
The system connects to both analogue channels and also digital television. I need to be able to change the channel on sky programatically, does anyone know of why of doing this I have various ideas on how this can be done...
1. programming a IR device to change the channel.
2. programming an RS232 port to change the channel.
The second is my prefered option anyone have any experience of doing this?
