DirectX 9c(SP2)

hi guys,

b4 i installed dx9c (end user or sdk cuz i tried both) my computers(disktop,labtop) hav windows xp with sp2 , vs.net 2003 and DirectX 9 SDK summer edition 2003 (9b)

when i trying to install dx9c , the setup said "the components installed are now ready for use" , but there was no progress for installed file or time .
this not the problem the problem when i tried to check the ver of DX(by dxdiag) , version appear DirectX 9.0b

or tring to run any samples came with sdk , it FALLD


any one hav any idea WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Are you sure you installed b and not c ?

yes i'm sure :-\

i think this bug in SP2(debug edition),
cuz i format my laptop and install xp(sp1)
then install directx9c and its work fine
but after i install sp2(debug edtion) the prob come over againe and the ver return to 9b
and i tred to install 9c but nothing happen

finally, i solved it by installing sp2 fainal edition thanks
