I know it's not really a programming question but I can't find a decent DirectX forum and it's relevant to the application I'm building atm.
I've installed DirectX 9 and ever since I've been getting really bad choppy audio playback in Windows Mediaplayer. I've made sure I've got the latest drivers for my Soundblaster and I've even upgraded to the Beta of Mediaplayer 9. I also tried adjusting the level of Sound Acceleration in DXDiag but none of this makes any difference.
Anyone else had problems? If so have you found a solution?
Cheers!
