Different Framework Versions, Clients and Application Server

Hello there.

I hope you can help me out with this one.

We have developed a .NET application with the 1.0 Framework.



It is located on a Application Server.
Clients with the 1.0 Framework installed can easily load and execute the application.

Win2K Clients with only the Framework 1.1 installed, can load and execute the application.

XP Clients with only 1.1 installed can not.

Bummer.

Additionally installing the 1.0 Framework will help (but it is not desired).



Any hints on that?

Has anyone experienced something similar?
Can you guys verify this?
Is this a known bug?
What can I do?

Well, FW 1.1 is supposed to work ok with 1.0 apps, what error are you getting when you try to run the app on WXP and FW1.1????
