Deleting & Adding Comobox Items

I have a combobox bound to a dataset.

As new data is added and deleted from the underlying database, is it possible to update the combobox without reloading the dataset from the database each time?

Of course, you would read directly from the database, but then binding the combobox to the dataset would be unneccessary.

how can add new items to a comboBox ?!
