I have an .msi file created with .net. The only thing that it does is that it installs MSDE (merge modules) in \Program Files\Product Name\.....
The problem I have is that I want to decide at installation time where to install MSDE. Setup brings up at the beginning the form where I can choose the path, but it ignores the path I gave
It installs again at \Program Files\Product Name\....., no matter what path I may choose.
I tried editing the .msi with Orca, but I couldn't figure out a way to make it use the new path. Does anyone have a clue as to what I might do ? ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks
