Hello people!!
Does anyone know how I could make a program in vb net in order to recognise the incoming calls(caller id)?

You'd need a serial communications component to open the modem port and send it the command to listen for Caller ID. I forget what the command is, but you should be able to find it.
 
Could u please write exact details,eg :Project->Add Component,etc., because I am not an experienced user?thanks
 
Not really, there are no components that ship with the .NET framework that do this. You'll have to either write, or find one.

No offence, but if you're not an experienced user, how come you're trying to do this? It's not really what I'd call easy.
 
lol i was gonna say the same thing, just give the phone company it's 2.50 and be happy they made it so simple :)
