I am planning to use sharpdevelop C#
I know Microsoft's SDK and Frameworks allows you to browse to the "structures" but are there any "good" books ?

I know now that C# is different from c++ and from c (normal) but where can i get a good book about C#?

On the forum of Sharpdevelop a guy told me to get in a store and get any book...But then i need a title to order : they know nothing about c# as me :)

So tell me what you have read to inspire on your C# development or courses...

Any links are fine too but not articles...i need info how the language is "structured"... I am like a puppy just trying to walk so guide me :)

Almost anything that you will find in a book can be found on teaching sites on the net for free. But if you really want a book, I went to Borders and got Deitel & Deitel's book - C# How to Program.

Actually what I meant was that you don't really need a book. There are many free teaching sites online. I wouldn't be one to suggest a book anyway. The only one I have read is Dietel & Dietels' book C# How to Program.

I'd suggest going to amazon.com and reading the reviews there, then going down to the book store and thumb through the books yourself.

I use the Deitel book as well, and it is pretty good, and in the Deitel tradition a little pricey. It is centered around Visual Studio though so you will have to figure out all the differences in SharpDevelop on your own.
