How to make a background alarm program that will run in background but when time is right it will pop-up.

background like ins msn messenger "Allow this program to run in background"
 
You do know that your application will still need to continue running, right?
I guess that you're using an timer for the alarm...
When time is up, just show the form or message box you want.
