I am working on an ASP.Net project while the usual programmer is out, so forgive my ASP.Net ignorance. 
We recently purchased the Maxx DataNet grid. (Click on Demo for the bottom item to see an example.)
It is a datagrid with some nice editing features, and it was cheap. I opened the sample code they sent us, and on the form is a grid that looks exactly like the Demo. I opened the properties of the datagrid that is on that sheet and it had all the default settings. No colors were set for the header, nor for the alternating rows, yet looking at the grid in the design environment, it had the blue bar across the top, and the rows alternated colors. How is it that this grid has none of those properties set, yet displays this color scheme?
