I'm writing an application, that I must constantly compile and run on a win98 test machine next to me. In the past I would just do setup and install program. Now I am compileing the .exe to a network drive.
When I execute the .exe on a network drive from the win98 test machine it returns:
"THE APPLICATION ATTEMPTED TO PERFORM AN OPERATION NOT ALLOWED BY THE SECURITY POLICY. THE OPERATION REQUIRED THE SECURITYEXCEPTION. TO GRANT THIS APPLICATION THE REQUIRED PERMISSION CONTACT YOUR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR, OR USE THE MICROSOFT .NET SECURITY POLICY ADMINISTRATION TOOL"
----
How can I get my .exe to run off a network drive, without all this hassle please?
