adding list to days on a Calendar (Asp .net)

I saw on the Internet somewhere, where someone had an Asp .net calendar control that would list a small i followed by a couple of words describing the event. They used a database for the backend and vb .net. Each day on teh calender that had something going on, they would have it listed as described inside of the date cell on the calender. Does anyone know how to do this or where this article may be on the Internet. It would be perfect for what I want to do.
