As a reply to the one about 2 operating systems: I use Windows XP Professional Edition and Windows 98 Second Edition because Microsoft Windows XP doesn't emulate DOS stuff properly. Even at the age of 15, I still like playing Duke Nukem 3D and GTA in 8 Colour Mode so the roads are grey and not purple. Anyway, I am planning on getting a copy of SuSE 9.0 Professional. Apperantly it runs Windows based applications fine. I'll give it a try. I can get a copy of ebay for about $5 US.

If you are a gaming person like myself, brother and a few other people I know, then go for Windows XP Professional. I have heard too many bugs with Windows XP Home Edition and Games, Visual STUDIO .NET and Networking. XP Professional is certainly worth the extra few dollars, but try http://www.ebay.com for Windows XP Pro. (I got an OEM edition for $50US) (at the time, $68 Australian)
