nice cool thanks. i tried looking into some sample programs from the SDK since they have fps displayed but it seemed like it needed like 600 lines of code just for that. :/

sorry im still new at Direct3D programming so i have 2 simple (i guess) questions. How to draw text in Direct3D and display fps on that text. i have done the Tutorial 3 from SDK and im moving to Tutorial 4 so i think its time to know that stuff =) thanks
