Hey people, I just have a quick question. I was just woundering if VB.net can do this, I am trying to write a program for my own personal use, that if I have to reload my computer for any weird reason, I can reload any of my software that I use for example, a virus scanner, my webpage editing stuff and so on. So what I am tryinig to wounder can you tell VB.net to execute another .exe file. I think it would just be great, to have all of my software, on a DVD-rom that is ran by a VB.net program. Thanks :)

Hey guys, I was just woundering on something, is there anyway to get VB to access a server though an http type protocal? For example: If I go to my friends house and install the vb program that I am working, and if they tried to log in, is there anyway it could send the data though the net to my server sitting a home to access the database, to check for an user ID and PWD? help on closing a form from a module Hello people! I currently have this login app. the user enters there user id, and password. Then it takes those two values and passes it to a function in a module. Then it checks to see if the user id is vaild and password. all that works great. But my problem is that when it checks to see if you are a adim or a user, it loads two different forms. then closes the login form. Well for some weird reason it will not close the login in form or hide it. I tried everything and looked ever where. So if someone could please help me that would be great! Thanks! :)
